Elderberries Outreach

Development Coordinator, Sarah McFadzean

Elderberries is a very popular social group which Shopper-Aide Ltd. hold in Campbeltown Free Church on a Tuesday and Thursday each week.  The group provides its members with the opportunity to socialise over a teaElderberries Group/coffee, have some lunch, take part in activities, enjoy entertainment and on occasion take a trip out.  Transport is provided where needed.  With the recent award of funding from the Life Changes Trust, Shopper-Aide is able to pilot Elderberries groups in rural areas; allowing those further out of town to enjoy the same social opportunities as those in Campbeltown.    Following on from recent meets in Tarbert, Clachan, Tayinloan and Carradale it has been decided to begin with a twice monthly group in three areas.  Dates and times will be posted on local notice boards. We would like to hear from anyone wishing to volunteer or help in anyway with transport, activities or skills they’d like to share.

Anyone wishing to attend with transport issues should contact our office on 01586 551600.
