We were absolutely delighted to receive sponsorship from Mr Jack Green for one of our vehicles. Mr Green’s wife Helen painted a robin which was then made into cards by Marlyn Moffat of Kintyre Design where they were sold to the public for Shopper-Aide.
Helen painted the picture just a month before she sadly passed away in 2020.
Many cultures believe a Robin appears when a lost loved one is near. It also symbolises new beginnings, re-birth and good fortune. “The Robin” was painted by Helen while living with dementia, she left this gift to remind us that even though loved ones may be gone, they are never far away.

Robin symbolism means different things in different cultures. But one thing is for sure: one meaning is hope, renewal, and rebirth. It symbolizes new beginnings, new projects, and a sign of good things to come.
