The Royal Wedding at the Elderberries Club

Thursday 17th May 2018 saw the Elderberries host their own version of the Royal Wedding in order to celebrate the marriage of Harry and Megan.

Our own ‘Queen for the day’ finished her 60 mile cycle minutes before the wedding on at Elderberries. Well done Flo Edwards for all your hard work.
This was Flo’s second sponsored cycle to aid funds for the Elderberry Club.

Our Own 'Queen' for the day

A fantastic time was had by all, the ‘bride’ thanked “the lovely people of Campbeltown for letting her be married here, she had heard lovely things about the place and thought it was the ideal place for a quiet wedding to Harry”

We are so grateful to absolutely everyone who was involved in any way and to all who came and made the day special, a big thanks to the following too:

Tesco’s Campbeltown – Kindly donated a voucher and 12 bottles of Shloer, we used the voucher for the wedding cack and some crisps.

Co-op Campbeltown  – gave us a excellent quantity of cakes and sandwiches.

Nickel and Dime – donated the balloons.

Campbeltown Grammar School –  donated the bunting.

Marilyn from Made in Kintyre who gave us the love hearts and beautiful invites.

Alex McKinnon – for the fine accordion music.

Finally, a huge thank you to our amazing volunteers and staff who made it all possible.

This service is invaluable to the whole community of Campbeltown and beyond, not just to my Mother.  The care and attention shown by all the staff is second to none.
